Introducing We Teach Texas Too

Welcome to our blog! This is our little slice of the internet where we are excited to share with you all of the exciting classroom activities we do, our teacher pay teacher products, and other ideas for you as teachers. We will even through in some real life too!

If you are wondering who WE are, well, there are two of us. Tab and Jess. Jess and Tab. We've been friends for 12 years. At first, neither one of us were on the education track, but we found our calling and passion. It's been an exciting ride, but we wouldn't have had it any other way.

A little about Tabitha

Tabitha is entering her 13th year of education. She has been a paraprofessional, a music and art teacher, a 4th grade reading and writing teacher, and is currently a 5th grade reading and social studies teacher. She has a true passion for education, using her love of theater to keep her classroom interesting. She is known for her exciting classroom transformations, student relationships, her ability to make learning fun, and her love of costumes. Watch out--she's got costumes for High-Five Fridays! Tabitha is also an award winning teacher--she has been awarded the Rising Star award from Corsicana ISD and Teacher of the Year for Ennis ISD.

Outside of school, you can find Tabitha heading to different concerts, being with her family, and going on taco tours.

Tab couldn't do this thing called teaching without her teacher's aid/husband, Scott. He's got mean laminate and cut skills.

A little about Jessica

Jessica is entering her 11th year of education. She has been a paraprofessional, a kindergarten teacher, a 3rd grade teacher, and is current a 4th grade reading and writing teacher. She has a true passion for education, making sharing her love of books a priority. She is known for building student relationships, her technological abilities, and for incorporating fun, engaging activities. She has begun working on starting room transformations and can't wait to do more.  Jessica is also an award winning teacher--she has been awarded the Rising Star award from Corsicana ISD.

Outside of school, you can find Jessica chasing after her twin boys, planning for epic road trips, and being with her family.

Jessica is truly thankful for her teaching wolf pack, and can't wait to embrace her weird in the classroom.
